3D details

Due in April 2010, the new Panasonic 3D TV experience consists of 2 plasma TVs, 50" and 65" (due June). A separate 3D capable Blu Ray player (April) connected via the new HDMI 1.4 standard cable will deliver stunning 1080P high definition 3D images from forthcoming 3D Blu Ray titles.

The TVs will come packaged with two pairs of active shutter technology 3D glasses, with additional pairs available at extra cost.

Furthermore it is expected that Sky TV will confirm Panasonic as an approved manufacturer to enable display of their proposed new 3D service in time for the World Cup.
